Just 2 things.
1) DOMAIN NAME. You can buy your domain name from any domain registrar you like, but there's no need to pay premium prices as domain registration is the same wherever you go. It's only their addons that bump up their prices. I recommend VentraIP because they're Aussie-owned and won't try to trick you with hidden fees at checkout. You can get a custom web address there (like mybusiness.com.au) for just $10/year.

2) HOSTING. Now you've got yourself a domain name, you need somewhere for your site to live... aka, website hosting. I'm providing $29/month hosting Affordable Hosting Plan, with annual renewals at the same price. No price hike! Your hosting plan auto-renews annually via PayPal and you can cancel any time.

That's it. No hidden extras, no surprise bills.
If you ever decide to move your site to somewhere else, I'll transfer the domain name to you at no extra cost. You own your brand; I just keep the engine running.

Most tradies go with [BusinessName].com.au (like wilsonbrothersroofing.com.au) or [BusinessName][Location].com.au (like smithspanelsydney.com.au) or [Trade][Location] (like paintinggeelong.com.au).

Your site will include sections detailing your Services, your Service Area/s, your About information (what makes you and your service special/unique), your Location, a Contact form, a Click-to-call phone button at the top of the screen... and anything else you'd like included such as (optionally) your logo and photos.

Photos of your business or your vehicle and friendly photos of you at work can help customers decide to call you. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

No contract. You can cancel the PayPal subscription at any time. If you ever want to move elsewhere, I'll zip up your site files and send them to you.

HOSTING: No, you don't need to manage any hosting accounts or passwords. I set up the site and it just runs. If you need any changes to the site, let me know. DOMAIN NAME: As far as your domain registration goes, make a note of your login details (URL, username, password), though they will remind you when annual renewal time comes around and you can always use the Forgot Password thing.

I don't need much—your business name, what you do, service area/s, and a phone number.

Regarding what you do, if you provide multiple services (such as a plumber does), you might want to say something like:
install and maintain hot water systems, detect leaks, repair broken pipes, unblock drains...

Including that level of detail should help your site's Google listings.
